Employing vertical spectral elements in CAM-SE has been shown to improve the model's accuracy, as measured by the dry DCMIP atmospheric dynamical-core tests. In this work, we extend our investigation to include coupled simulations involving moisture, physics, and physics-dynamics coupling.
